OD/WEK & JAVA API / Re: issue with ODWEK, ICN and adding fix pack
« on: December 05, 2019, 07:26:16 AM »
Seems like something must be fundamentally wrong with the 9.5 install.

I'd be nervous until I got it rectified.  But then again, I'm a worry-wart by nature.   :-\

Windows Client / Rotating Output Considerations
« on: November 26, 2019, 11:27:03 AM »
1. The AFP viewer will look at settings in the MISC registry before looking in the ftdport2.ini

2. CutSheet apears to be case sensitive.  For example CutSheet=TRUE

3. For AFP viewer rotation issues on Windows 10, it's best to to update the Windows client to V10.1.0.5

z/OS Server / Re: ODSSGET in Anystore Exit stuck on first DDNAME
« on: November 21, 2019, 02:48:18 PM »
Mr. Nolan -

I have no truly helpful suggestions.

But as long as you're in test can I at least convince you to get fully up-to-date with CMOD service?

There have been several PTFs for various ailments since 10.1.0.4:

UI59016  10.1.0.4
UI59126
UI59607
UI59715
UI61052
UI61995
UI62202
UI62508
UI63384
UI63542
UI64056
UI64740 10.1.0.5
UI65475
UI65845

Admittedly none of them are a match for what you're doing, especially as you're dealing with exit woes, but as my nephew the veterinarian likes to say, "Couldn't hurt, might help."

MP Server / Re: arsdoc retrieve too slow
« on: November 21, 2019, 12:40:15 PM »
Are there funky fonts in the slow retrievals?

If I recall correctly, there's a standard set of fonts that's always available with PDFs.

If you use other than those standard fonts then they have to be archived as resources, recalled, mapped, converted, sliced and diced so that they can be displayed.

I found out the longer answer:

Given that ACIF is a feature of PSF, PSF/ACIF 4.5 End of Service date was September 30, 2019.

Just received that word myself.

Everyone should be on ACIF V4.6.

Windows Client / Re: WIndows Client / API supporting Drag and Drop Load
« on: October 25, 2019, 09:30:41 AM »
Just a quick final question: Even CMOD version 10.1 or New version planned to support such functionality in the future?

You can drag 'n' drop right now from ICN, at least in CMOD V10.

If properly configured - you simply drag a document to the search results screen.

I have not done this personally, have no more details.

I'll guess that being current on both CMOD and ICN is key.
